Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luigi Di Maio, together with the United Nations Secretary General, António Guterres, will attend the ceremony of the 25th anniversary of the United Nations Global Service Center (UNGSC) in Brindisi.
The UNGSC is the facility that provides logistics, geospatial intelligence, IT and Telecommunication services to all UN operations, and is a centre of excellence in terms of innovation in the management of their environmental impact.
The ceremony is held on the premises of the UNGSC, at the Military Airport of Brindisi, at the attendance of the Direct of the UNGSC, Giovanna Ceglie, the Mayor of Brindisi, Riccardo Rossi and the President of the Regional Council of Apulia, Michele Emiliano.
