Under-Secretary Dassù met today at the Headquarters of Unioncamere with Colombian Trade Minister Sergio Diaz Granados Guida, on the occasion of the “Country Presidentation: Colombia” organised by the Foreign Ministry, Unioncamere and Confindustria, in collaboration with the Embassy of Colombia.The meeting offered an opportunity to review the excellent status of relations between Italy and Colombia, and to reiterate a common determination to take advantage of the opportunities that Colombia offers System Italy. Colombia has approved a major four-year plan for infrastructure, agriculture and energy/mining activities, all sectors in which Italian firms are heavily interested, as demonstrated by the large number of business representatives who attended today’s meeting.
Under-Secretary Dassù also announced an upcoming visit to Colombia accompanied by a delegation of Italian business persons, which could offer an occasion on which to sign new bilateral agreements and to create or reinforce contacts between firms in various productive sectors.
