In exercising the functions of the President of the Republic, the Speaker of the Senate, Senator Pietro Grasso, will take part in the ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camp at Auschwitz. The Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Sen. Benedetto della Vedova, will represent the Italian Government at the ceremony, which will take place on 27 January 2015.
