Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Paolo Gentiloni spoke by telephone with foreign minister designate of the Republic of Argentina Susana Malcorra. In extending his congratulations, Gentiloni wished to establish initial contact with his counterpart in that key Latin American country.
The head of the Farnesina expressed his conviction that Minister Malcorra’s lengthy experience in the United Nations would be an essential resource for her country and heralded the continuation and further development of what are already excellent bilateral relations between Italy and Argentina.
