The Foreign Ministry has been informed that the judicial Authorities of Montenegro have decided to return the passport to Flavio Bianco, an Italian citizen arrested last April and on bail up to a few hours ago, with the obligation to reside in the Balkan Country. Mr Bianco can now return to Italy to spend the Christmas holidays with his family.
Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni, in expressing his satisfaction at the news, especially thanked his Montenegrin counterpart, Srdjan Darmanović, with whom he had discussed the case in Brussels yesterday, on the fringes of the Meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers.
