The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, met with the Vice President of the Presidential Council of the Libyan Government of National Accord, Ahmed Maiteeq at the Farnesina today. The meeting offered the opportunity to examine how Libya’s stabilisation process was progressing in the light of recent developments. Minister Moavero specifically asked Deputy Prime Minister Maiteeq for an update on the actions taken by Libya to ensure greater security in the territory, to improve the general economic situation, to better manage migration flows in transit and to assure migrants in Libya are given the required dignified reception in full respect of fundamental human rights.
