As part of the #InsiemepergliSDG initiative, a campaign promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), in partnership with the UN SDG Action Campaign, FAO, the European Commission, CIHEAM IAMB in Bari and Save the Children, the MAECI and the UN SDG Action Campaign – concertedly with the Municipality of Milan – will organize an event on 3 May 2022 on the role that each one of us plays in jointly achieving the sustainable development goals. The event will be attended, among others, by Deputy Foreign Minister Marina Sereni and the Mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala.
TUESDAY, 3 MAY, 10 AM – 12 PM. INSIEMEPERGLISDG: FLIP THE SCRIPT! – AMATEUR THEATER (TEATRO FILODRAMMATICI). MILAN.
The session will include the presence of national secondary school students and will cast light on the key messages contained in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), also through the #FlipTheScript UN SDG Action Campaign and the #InsiemepergliSDG campaign promoted by the MAECI and its partners to change the narrative on the SDGs, recalling the importance of acting together for a better planet and future. The session will include contributions by Anna SCAVUZZO, Deputy Mayor of the city of Milan, Marina SERENI, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Marina PONTI, Director of the UN SDG ACTION Campaign, Elisa Toffoli (stage name is ELISA) singer and music producer recently nominated ALLY of the UN SDG ACTION CAMPAIGN, and Daniela FATARELLA, Director General of Save the Children ITALIA.
The session will be moderated by Silvia BOCCARDI of WILL MEDIA, media partner of #InsiemepergliSDG.

The event aims to launch the #InsiemepergliSDG 202 campaign promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and its partners to raise public opinion’s awareness on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and on the work performed by the Italian Development Cooperation Service and its partners in achieving these goals in a post-Covid 19 world. The event will open with greetings from the Mayor of Milan, Giuseppe SALA, followed by contributions from Marina SERENI, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Giorgio GORI, Mayor of Bergamo, Emilio DEL BONO, Mayor of Brescia, Luigi DE MOSSI, Mayor of Siena and Roberto BONACCORSI, interim Mayor of Catania (in videoconference).
The session will be moderated by Alessandro TOMMASI, Founder and CEO of WILL MEDIA, media partner of #InsiemepergliSDG.
In 2021, the #InsiemepergliSDG campaign toured the cities of Teramo, Prato, Bari, Rome, and Cremona and, in the 2022 edition, will extend to the cities of Siena (15-28 June), Catania (22-25 September) and Brescia-Bergamo (21-30 October), with a number of activities and initiatives involving the SDGs, sharing experiences through workshops, educational and learning and active citizenship activities, games, and creativity. The initiative paves the way for a process to create ties and relationships with the partners promoting the initiative and with local communities with the aim of singling out and maximizing the best local experiences.
