The Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, the Directorate-General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy – Unit for the Coordination of the Italian Cultural Institutes of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the Italian Cultural Institute of Stockholm are promoting the third edition of the Stockholm Prize, a residency programme dedicated to the themes of sustainability and eco-innovation in the field of fashion design.
The initiative is open to fashion designers born after 31 December 1990, with a good knowledge of the English language, who work in the specific sector and meet the requirements set out in the call for applications.
The two winners, selected by a Commission, will have the opportunity to spend six months in Sweden to further develop their professional research.
The residencies will take place in collaboration with the Swedish Institute and the Association of Swedish Fashion Brands, scientific partners of the project, in a location selected based on the profile of the winner(s).
The two winners of the Prize will also be involved in activities and events organised by the Italian Cultural Institute of Stockholm and/or the partners of the prize, and will have the opportunity to present their results to the public at the end of the residency.
