The Secretary General of the Farnesina, Ambassador Ettore Francesco Sequi, participated today in the third program of Sky TG24 “Live In”, a series of events consisting of meetings organized to create opportunities for discussions with Italian and international guests from the sectors of politics, economics, science, culture, industry, entertainment and sports. The theme of the program for this year is “Next Generation”.
The opening session featured a segment in which the network dedicated a virtual award to a category of young people who have distinguished themselves for professionalism and vision. The choice fell on two young diplomats, Luca Attanasio and Tommaso Claudi.
In his address, Ambassador Sequi reiterated the key values for today’s diplomats: a desire to serve, courage and profound devotion, all of which are fundamental, especially in view of the challenges facing the new generation – social inequality, climate change and political tension
