The Italian Ambassador to The Netherlands, Andrea Perugini, hosted the seminar “How innovation changes our working environments”, organised in association with the Bocconi University, in his Residence in The Hague. The seminar focused on the following topics: the relationship between start-ups and large corporations, networking as an instrument of innovation, innovation in the space sector and the role of workers as drivers of innovation. The seminar was attended the Managing Director of the Bocconi University, Riccardo Taranto, and lecturers from the same Milan-based University, from the Rotterdam School of Management and from the European Space Agency (ESA-Estec). The event opened with a ceremony to award the ribbon of Knighthood of the Order of the Star of Italy to Berend Claus, Managing Director of Goglio North Europe, an important Italian business that has consolidated its presence in The Netherlands with significant investments in the packaging sector and has conquered a relevant share of the Country’s market thanks to its innovative solutions.
