Senegal: Italy’s contribution to demining

Lands declared “free of mines” in the Senegalese region of Casamance were restored to the local communities thanks to a project coordinated by UNDP to which Italy made a contribution of €300,000. Funds were used for expert surveys and demining training. Read more, in Italian.
