Italian ambassador Pasquale Terracciano and Consul General Massimiliano Mazzanti concluded a two-day visit to the Isle of Jersey today, accompanied by Guardia di Finanza Colonel Emilio Flora. They met there with the local autonomous government authorities and the approximately one thousand-strong Italian community living on this British island off the coast of France and the famous sanctuary of Mont Saint Michel. The embassy issued a statement saying that, “the meetings offered an opportunity to view progress in the achievement of transparency in fiscal matters following enactment of an information exchange accord on 26 January 2015”.
