On Thursday, 15 December at 3 p.m., the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will host the Presentation of the Italian Year Book on Human Rights 2016, organised by the Interministerial Committee for Human Rights (CIDU), in partnership with the University of Padua.
The event will be opened by the Deputy Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, Michele Baiano, and chaired by the President of CIDU, Fabrizio Petri.
Following a brief musical interlude by a member of the “Musicians for Humans Rights” Orchestra, the presentation will continue with contributions by Antonio Papisca, Professor Emeritus at the University of Padua and Director of the Year Book on Human Rights, Francesca Tardioli, the Foreign Ministry’s Deputy Director General and Central Director for Political Affairs, Marco Mascia, Director of the University Centre for Human Rights of the University of Padua, Martina Pignatti Morano, President of “Un ponte per”, and Nicola Lapenta, Head of the National Civil Service at the Pope John XXIII Community Association.
The presentation will close with remarks by Fabrizio Petri, the President of CIDU.
