Tomorrow, in the Sala Aldo Moro, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will host the final day of the 30th edition of the “Villa Mondragone International Economic Seminar”, with this year’s programme focusing on “Yearning for Inclusive Growth and Development, Good Jobs and Sustainability”.

Launched in 1988, the seminar aims to encourage dialogue between academics and representatives of national and international public institutions on the issues of growth and sustainable development.

It was opened by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Elisabetta Belloni, and the President of the Economics Foundation of Tor Vergata, Prof. Luigi Paganetto. There will also be presentations by Prof. Carlo Cottarelli, Prof. Jean Paul Fitoussi of Sciences Po, Prof. Dominick Salvatore of Fordham University, and the Moroccan Ambassador in Rome, Hassan Abouyoub, among others.

The event fits into the well-established history of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Economics Foundation, University of Rome Tor Vergata. It was set up to inject new perspectives and the expert considerations of academics and members of think tanks into foreign policy analyses.
