“Our commitment towards strengthening political and trade relations between Italy and China is strong, sincere and concrete,” Italian Ambassador in Beijing Ettore Sequi told China’s Vice-Minister of Commerce Mr. Zhong at the end of their meeting at the Ministry of Commerce. They met today to review their countries’ main economic and trade reports and lay the foundations for more intense and effective forms of collaboration. The common goal for 2016 is to bolster relations between Italy and China in concrete and targeted ways. The meeting also focussed on actions to increase and balance bilateral trade. Today’s talk was part of the “Road to 50” programme in the lead up over the next five years to the celebration of 50 years of bilateral relations between the two countries.
