The Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi in Rome will organise, from 1 to 3 December, the second edition of the Forum MED – Mediterranean Dialogues, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale (ISPI – International Policy Studies Institute). The key themes of the Forum are common security, the fight against terrorism, the future of the Middle East, immigration, energy, growth, and the role of women and youth in relaunching the economy. The event, which will be open to the press, will be attended by numerous Italian and foreign government officers. These include prime ministers, financial executives and entrepreneurs, international bodies and organisations, and scholars and experts from over 50 countries. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation by 30 November at 6 p.m. in one of the following ways: – by filling the interactive form at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the information requested in digital format (a letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country). – by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (Tel. + 39 06/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching a letter from his/her media organisation (or press card) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country. The press representatives’ entrance to the Centro Congressi of the Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi, via G. Frescobaldi, 5, will be open at the following hours:
– Thursday, 1 December, from 11:30 a.m. until the end of the day’s events (see programme) – Friday, 2 December, from 7:30 a.m. until the end of the day’s events (see programme) – Saturday, 3 December, from 8 a.m. until the end of the day’s events (see programme)
On Thursday, 1 December, accredited media interested in following the opening addresses of the Forum, are requested to arrive from 11:30 a.m. and not after 1 p.m. The accreditation will be valid throughout the duration of the Forum. For security reasons, please check in at the press accreditation desk to collect the accreditation badges, which will have to be returned at the end before exiting. A press room with a wifi connection, monitor and a media corner for interviews will be set up.
