Ambassador of Italy in Albania Massimo Gaiani opened the “Laura Vicuña” training centre in Bregdeti Tale (Lezhë), built with funds from the Italian Cooperation.
The centre will host the training courses offered through the “Boosting socio-educational services and the social and cultural advancement of children, young people and women in Tale in the district of Lezhë” programme being carried out by NGOs Vides and Labor Mundi in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunity of the Albanian Republic. The aim is to improve the living conditions of the local population by combating social exclusion..
Courses will offer training in social and cultural promotion and the protection of children, women and young people, and focus also on raising awareness of the correct uses of natural and environmental resources in farming and fruit growing.
