Promoting the historical, cultural and artistic treasures of Florence, Tuscany and Italy to the Chinese was the goal of a mission to Beijing by President of the Association of Partners of Palazzo Strozzi (APPS) Leonardo Ferragamo to propose the Foundation’s inclusion of potential Chinese partners.
Ferragamo was received by Ambassador of Italy to the People’s Republic of China Attilio Massimo Iannucci, who gathered representatives of some of China’s main industries with a strong interest in Italy and willing to consider launching forms of cultural collaboration between Italy and China, making the most of the enormous potential and rich appeal that Florence, Tuscany and Italy, not least as expressions of the Renaissance, enjoy around the world.
