Washington: the electronic diplomacy debate

How are new technologies changing diplomacy and the dynamics of international relations? That is the question before the seminar “Twiplomacy 2.0: the Rise of E-diplomacy and the Future of Communications”, to be held this afternoon at the Italian embassy in Washington. Speakers in addition to Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero will include US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s Innovation Advisor Alec Ross, well known Washington Post editorialist David Ignatius, host of HuffPostLive Ahmed Shihab-Edin and head of Strategic Communication at the United Nations Deborah Seward.
