Kenya to become oil producer/exprter with Tullow Oil


In its latest midterm report, the British company Tullow Oil PLC announced the results of drilling in northern Kenya near Lake Turkana, where it appears that the Etuko deposit contains 300 million barrels of crude oil – findings that will make Kenya a member, for the first time, of the world oil and gas producers’ club.
