Minister Paolo Gentiloni is in Mexico City for a meeting of the Italy-Mexico Bi-National Commission, the foremost bilateral collaboration body. Gentiloni will meet with Senate President Miguel Barbosa Huerta and Secretary of Foreign Affairs Jose’ Antonio Meade Kuribrena, with whom he will discuss international policy concerns.
Cooperation accords
The Commission sessions will focus on the development of bilateral relations, particularly on the economic-business level as well as cooperation in the field of security and the struggle against transnational organised crime. Cooperation accords are to be signed.
