Consul General of Italy in Melbourne Marco Maria Cerbo awarded the insignia of the Knights of the Order of the Star of Italy to Giuseppe Garofalo, one of the most successful Italian entrepreneurs in Melbourne and in Australia. The firm of which he is director, Bruno Distributors, is among the leaders in the sector of Italian food product imports, and contributes substantially to disseminating Italian food and wine traditions. A press release describing the entrepreneur of Sicilian descent said he “is fiercely loyal to the institutions and has always ensured support for the initiatives organized by the Consulate General and Italian Cultural Institute in Melbourne”.
