The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, held telephone talks today with the Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen.
The talks centred on the crisis in the Tigre region and the resulting humanitarian situation. The Minister and the Commissioner discussed Italy’s possible actions, within the EU framework, to foster the cessation of hostilities and the resumption of dialogue between the parties, with the aim of restoring stability and security in the region.
