The Comitato Nazionale Sciasciano has designed a cycle of “Lessons from Sciascia” that began in Italy and is now continuing as a virtual “relay” around the world, including in cultures and countries that are very distant one from another, but are all animated by the desire to read and reread Leonardo Sciascia in a cosmopolitan context, to reflect on his work, and to bring the younger generation and the schools closer to his books, which are fundamental for their ethical value and the strength of the social message they embody.
Undersecretary Benedetto Della Vedova will also be attending the event.
