The Secretary General of the Farnesina, Ambassador Ettore Francesco Sequi, met the Greek Ambassador, Eleni Sourani, on 22 August to discuss bilateral relations and questions regarding the regional context and the eastern Mediterranean.
The meeting was an opportunity to underscore Italy’s shared standpoint with Greece on the need to resolve the disputes in that region through agreements based on international law. Such agreements would make it possible to for all concerned to benefit even more fully from the area’s great economic potential.
