Farnesina Secretary-General, Ambassador Ettore Francesco Sequi, met today with Saipem’s new CEO and General Manager Alessandro Puliti.
Ambassador Sequi congratulated Puliti on his appointment, which entails great responsibility, being at the helm of one of Italy’s major industrial companies. Ambassador Sequi also reasserted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and its diplomatic-consular network shall support Italian enterprises in their internationalisation strategies.
The Farnesina Secretary-General stressed that Saipem is stepping up its efforts in foreign markets and praised the work done by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation at bilateral and multilateral levels to help achieve the goals of the energy transition and of the fight against climate change.
