Chile’s Ambassador in Italy, Oscar Godoy Arcaya, opened his country’s new Embassy today, thus fulfilling his country’s long-held wish to possess its own mission in Italy. The ceremony was attended by the Chilean Foreign Minister, Alfredo Moreno Charme, who noted that 2014 sees the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Chile.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Stefano Ronca, Head of Diplomatic Protocol, was awarded the Order of Bernardo O’Higgins, Chile’s highest honour. Read more, in Italian.
