GB – Italian ambassador opens innovative hospital unit

Ambassador of Italy to London Pasquale Terracciano opened an innovative medical laboratory at the hospital in Leicester that will make possible greater precision in the administration of pharmaceuticals and large savings for that National Health Service facility. The laboratory is the fruit of collaboration between the Service and the Italian firm Ingegneria Biomedica Santa Lucia located in Gragnano Trebbiense. ISBL president Bruno Giglio, who was present at the opening, commented that, “this is a highly important project for ISBL and we are convinced that, working together with the hospital, we can contribute to making improvements”.
