Germany – “After year Zero. Italy’s new Design”. A chat with Chiara Alessi a the IIC

In a completely new setting, Chiara Alessi, journalist and essayist, will illustrate the two key events that marked the current success of Italian design, consolidating it within a long historic tradition: emerging businesses, schools, communication spaces and their connection with the contemporary communication space par excellence, namely the Internet. She will also explore the new alternative ways of designing projects, production and self-production systems and, above all, the names in this recent history of Italy, made up of more than 200 designers, most of whom are under 30.
