Italy participates as a “Partner Country” in India Design ID 2017, which takes place in New Delhi from 16 to 19 February. The event forms part of a campaign launched by the Italian Trade Agency with a view to promoting ‘Made in Italy’ products in India.The Triennale Design Museum showcases the “Under 35. Italian Design” exhibition, curated by Silvana Annicchiarico, with installations by Raffaella Mangiarotti and Marco Ferreri. The exhibition presents Italy’s contemporary Italian design through 100 projects created by 27 Italian designers under 35 years of age.
The show, which includes prototypes, serial products, industrial and handicrafted products, will be hosted at the NSIC Grounds of Okla, in Delhi until 19 Febraury. The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Embassy to India have agreed to keep the exhibition in town and host it at the premises of the Embassy to celebrate the Italian Design Day (2 March). The curators of the exhibition will illustrate the principles of Italian industrial design, both during the India Design Week and on the Italian Design Day.
