The National Film School of the Latvian Academy of Culture hosted a lecture entitled “Linguistic relations between cinema and television” by Simona Messina, a professor at the University of Salerno. The lecture was attended by students of the Academy of Culture and of the Department of Human Sciences of the University of Latvia.
The 17th Week of the Italian Language in the World was opened by H.E. Ambassador Sebastiano Fulci who introduced a recital for violin and guitar (with music by Paganini and Giuliani) at the Auditorium of the historical palace of the Large Guild in the heart of the Old City of Riga.
