As part of the 2025 edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the World, the network of state-recognized Italian schools abroad has launched a significant initiative that brought together 24 schools from across the globe.

Thanks to the coordination of Mina Nazih, Head of the Don Bosco Institute in Alexandria, Egypt, the schools produced an engaging and meaningful video (available here), in which students take turns sharing how the Italian language and culture have influenced each of them.

The network of state-recognized Italian schools abroad was established in 2024 on the initiative of Counsellor Filippo Romano, Head of Office V at the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy (DGDP), and is coordinated by Annalisa Frigenti, School Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), together with network coordinators Augusto Bellon of Collegio A. Raimondi in Lima and Gabriela Bongiovanni of the Scuola Bilingue e Biculturale D. Alighieri in Córdoba.
