Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs funds the latest edition of the Finance Police’s training course on illegal financial flows for the members of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), Cuba and the Dominican Republic

The course held by Italy’s Guardia di Finanza (Finance Police)  has become a milestone in the relations between Italy and the CARICOM countries. This year marks the fourth edition for the two-week training course, which has been held annually at the Tax Police School of the Guardia di Finanza in Ostia since 2015.
Transnational financial crime is nonmaterial and linked to technological progress. To fight it requires in-depth and updated knowledge, which is the added value of the course that has been provided year after year. The course garners strong interest from the countries involved.

Italy’s  Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Finance Police have worked together extensively for years to support training courses for developing countries.
