Italy – Spain book forum, focus on the ‘Craft of Writing’

The fourth Italy-Spain book forum will be held tomorrow in Madrid to promote the development of publishing projects and cooperation between the Italian and the Spanish publishing industries.  The Italian Cultural Institute organised the event in association with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), Monteverdelegge and the Associazione Forum del Libro as part of a cycle of literary events E3 + Encuentros Editores Escritores.

The Forum will kick off with a presentation of the Italian publishing houses Adelphi, Il Saggiatore, Laterza, Minimum Fax, Nottetempo and Quodlibet at the Cultural Institute offices. It will be followed by individual meetings between the Italian and Spanish publishers by appointment.

In the evening, an event called “The craft of writing” will be held with writers Luciano Mecacci (Adelphi), Alberto Giuliani (Il Saggiatore), Marta Fana (Laterza), Antonio Talia (Minimum Fax), Paulo Barone (Nottetempo) and Stefano Catucci (Quodlibet), presented by journalist, writer and translator Maria Teresa Carbone.
