Bolivia – Italian projects become best practices at G7

Four Italian projects, developed by the Directorate General for Development Cooperation (DGCS) of the Farnesina, were included in the 2015 Accountability Report of the German G7 Presidency. The report focuses on biodiversity and its aim is to document and disseminate a series of best practices in that sector, achieved in synergy with other areas such as climate change, health and food security. Of the four projects, one is associated with Lebanon, one with Albania and two with Bolivia. The projects goal was to strengthen the vegetal germplasm banks of the national system of genetic resources for agriculture and alimentation (2004-2011). Read more, in Italian.
