The rich programme of events celebrating Italian Cuisine in the Russian Federation was very well received both by audiences and the media alike. Organized by the Italian Embassy in Moscow in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute and the School Bureau of the Consulate General of Italy in the Russian capital, along with the Association of Italian Ambassadors of Taste and the International School of Italian Cuisine (ALMA), the programme of the Italian Cuisine Week featured many different events, which took place in Moscow as well as in many other Russian cities, all the way to Vladivostok.
Several distinguished guests participated in the Week’s events, which also included international food festivals; journalist competitions on the theme of food fairness; Italian food and wine tasting events; a film festival screening four movies which travelled from Moscow to seven other cities in the country; twinning initiatives between Italian and Russian hotel schools; master classes with Italian Michelin star-winning chefs in cooperation with the most important academy of cuisine in Russia; showcasing and promoting Italian products at the most well-known supermarket chain in the country.
