Berlin is expecting the arrival of the exhibition “New Shapes of Made in Italy”, which offers an opportunity to present the work that best represents the theme of preciousness, intended as the ability to use know-how and to do applied research on innovative materials. The selection of projects includes those that reinterpret or represent the symbols of the Made in Italy culture. Displayed last autumn in Budapest, the exhibition is an international showcase for young creatives from Italy and Emilia Romagna who have won important prizes and offers the opportunity to highlight a type of entrepreneurship that sees the designer as the manager of the production chain, researching the sustainability of the production cycle and new forms of cooperation between the world of design and of traditional businesses.
The young designers selected are: Arago design, Art, Arturonoce, Federica Bubani, Caracol Design Studio, Emmedi.design, Franco Catalini, Massimo Marcelli, Peralia, Tania Marta Pezzuolo, Re-find, Sotteranea Officina Sperimentale, Tipo 00 design, Urge Design, Woodart Km Zero. The exhibition, curated by Open Design Italia, will display design accessories, complements and furniture will be open in the German capital from 9 January to 3 February.
