The Global Sustainable Fashion Week, which will be running in Budapest from 7 to 10 June, is a unique event interlacing an international conference, presentations and fashion shows on the themes of sustainable and ethical fashion, with the coverage of international media. It represents an opportunity to explore different aspects and results spanning from the product design to fair trade, from the traditional to the most advanced processes, with an eye on the best practices of different Countries. The Global Sustainable Fashion Week will be attended by experts and artists from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The guest of honour at the event will be Italy, in the light of the important role it plays in eco-fashion. The presentation will be hosted at the Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest starting from 10 a.m. on 8 June. The opening remarks will be made by Gabriella Mányi-Walek, founder of the Global Sustainable Fashion Week, Gian Luca Borghese, director of the Italian Cultural Institute and Rahul Chhabra, the Ambassador of India.
