A week devoted to Italy, in the heart of Moscow. This is the second international ‘Buongiorno, Italia!’ fair. Public events – such as concerts by Thomas Grazioso and the Accademia Lirica Santa Croce of Triste – will alternate with business-related meetings at the Moscow Manege, in front of the Kremlin wall, from 5 to 12 December. The festival opens this evening with the ‘FollowTheFabrika’ fashion award, with the winners to be announced during a gala dinner. There will also be exhibition spaces for the tourism sector, focusing on spa treatments which are becoming increasingly popular in Russia, and the perfume industry. One stand will promote the wedding business in Italy. The Italian Cultural Institute has organised an “Italian language day” for 10 December, while the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) will be at the fair with its own stand, and has planned an evening devoted to Italian cinema on 11 December, called ‘Italia: set cinematografico’.
