Bratislava hosts event dedicated to Made in Garda

Lago di Garda and the surrounding area was presented as a tourist destination in Bratislava during a promotional event held at the residence of the Ambassador of Italy to Slovakia, Gabriele Meucci. The event, which was organised in conjunction with the Lago di Garda Lombardia Consortium and Agenzia Europe 3000, was attended by the Slovak authorities along with the main tour operators and travel agencies of the country and by the President of the Italian-Slovak Chamber of Commerce Alexander Resch. 
In his opening speech, Ambassador Meucci underscored the incredible potential for growth of Slovak presence in the Garda region thanks both to its geographic vicinity and the excellent relations between the two countries. The President of the Lago di Garda Lombardia Consortium, Franco Cerini, then illustrated the characteristics of the “Made in Garda” tourist product and the consolidated collaboration with the Agenzia Europe 3000, partner of the “Progetto Giovani” aimed at promoting the area to a young target group. Lago di Garda is a destination which in the last year has recorded 25 million tourists. The event ended with a tasting of fine food products from the region.
